CORE Hub Leads Effort to Voice Community Benefits

In August of 2022, the Redwood CORE Hub working with its North Coast Offshore Wind Community Benefit Network drafted a letter outlining a series of recommendations to guide the development of the offshore wind energy project in Humboldt Bay. The letter was submitted to BOEM in response to the Proposed Sale Notice put forth for the sale of commercial wind energy leases on the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) in the Humboldt Wind Energy Area (WEA).
